The Sloane Square Hotel was the perfect location for
our week in London .... close to everything,
our old "hood", pubs we miss,
stores we miss,
but most important...
friends we miss!
After an overnight flight and a little cat nap we were ready for
our first Sunday Roast with Tim and Sandra
at the Morpeth Arms Pub
near the Tate Britain.
This pub was built in 1845 on the site of the original prison cells of Millbank Penitentiary.
It overlooks the infamous MI6 across the river Thames,
binoculars and reading material included!
As tradition requires,
the next morning I headed out with the horses
to Hyde Park
and Sandra set the pace....
We enjoyed a proper English breakfast at the Lido!
London,
I'm back!
