These trees were first a seed, then a stem, then a living trunk, then a family's Christmas joy......
and then dead timber! In Brompton Square we await the "rubbish and recycle" lorry and the "gritting vehicles" to keep up with the snow which has been falling all morning! I am staying inside and watching scenes of school children "sledging" on the "tele"!
Beware of flight delays my friends!

Hi Holly - we are under 18" snow here in sunny Haslemere - barely 40 miles from London. Paul only dug us out yesterday - and it is a long dig right across the common! The gritting trucks and the snow plough only came out for the first time today too but it is warm as toast in here by the fire!
