We look forward to this event all year and it was the perfect, sunny, opening day at ASCOT! We were all frocked up in our proper hats and heels!
After a month of Jubilee the patriotic theme of Red, White, and Blue seemed to be continued this year at ASCOT......
Even the Queen wore blue!
There was some serious betting going on but as always, for me it was more about special friendships and moments of laughter.

I of course want to comment on every hat. Fabulous! I heard that the dress code had changed to no fascinators... so I am glad to see that you are in-code.
Now, for the strange 'young' lady in the red hat/dress/shoes... fashion police!!!
I know I'm late on posting but, I just wanna say I don't think that young lady in the white dress had any idea you where taking her pic!
